NRS People

Welcome to our NRS People Team!  Our Team are going above and beyond their daily roles to work with our best 'people' from across the organisation to deliver a focused support project that is improving the daily working lives for staff in Neighbourhood and Regeneration Services.  This includes a focused approach to improving staff capability to attend work enjoy their work experience day to day and build their careers in an organisation that cares about their wellbeing.

Steering Group

Andy Waddell, Operations Director, Paul McGaulley, NRS HR Manager, Lynn Norwood, Head of Human Resources meet monthly to receive programme lead updates and engage on all support required on the programme deliverables.

Project Team

Karen Strachan, Senior HR Officer, William Holms, Health and Wellbeing Support Officer, Corrin Strain, OD Consultant, Sean Hanlon Operations Manager, Maryann Walsh, Assistant HR Manager (NRS), Ross Hutton, Assistant HR Officer (NRS People), Kirsty Jordan, Corporate HR Health and Wellbeing Lead. 

This Team are the driving force, engaging with staff and using their learning to design and develop NRS people solutions for change!

Trade Union Partners

Our trade union partners provide us with ideas and feedback on initiatives, to ensure we're meeting the right needs of their members.  The are Eddie Scanlon, William Holms,  Ross McArthur, George Murdoch and Brian Carson.

Succession and Career Planning

Liz Hamilton, Corporate HR Succession and Career Planning Lead, Nicola Findlay, OD Succession and Career Planning Lead, Karen Broadly, Assistant HR Manager (NRS), Joanne McTaggart, HR Officer (NRS) our implementing our new organisational model for Succession and Career Planning, the team are working with Brendan in Roads and Christine in Technical Services to create a succession plan that delivers a future fit skilled workforce.

Wellness at Work Team

This NRS HR Team Led by Assistant HR Manager Maryann Walsh support managers and their staff who are too unwell to work, get the right support as early as possible to ensure they recover well and we can maintain the strength in our service delivery resources.  The Team also includes Karen Boyce, Robert Smith, Danielle McGrory and Louisa Kane.

NRS Communications Team

Sean Hanlon, Operations Manager for Community Justice, Community Resources, Communications and Marketing Leads the NRS Coms Team, without their direct support and practical involvement in reaching the staff.  The project wouldn't be possible without the support of Manju Marwaha, Tony Green, Victoria Kelly, Joseph Rodgers, Mariia Khapun, Allison Scott, Graham Knox and Bryan Scott.

Mental Health Leaders

Eddie Scanlon, William Holms, Kenneth Costelloe and Sean Hanlon all qualified from Glasgow City College with their Level 6 Qualification in Mental Health Leadership.  They support service staff on all wellness matters and can influence and engage the project team and leadership on creating action that counts.
