Committees

Council committees are groups of elected councillors who are responsible for specific areas of the Council's work.

The scheme of delegated functions (PDF, 412 KB)(opens new window) describes the functions of the council that have been delegated to officers (our staff, as opposed to its elected members) to carry out.
