Overview

A Property Enquiry Certificate (PEC) is a standard report on information regarding Statutory Notices and other legal orders and regulations that affect a property. The information is often required when buying or selling a house. The seller's solicitor will normally request this as part of the property search.

How do I Apply?

You can request a PEC by emailing Formal Property Enquiries.

How much does it cost?

The cost for a Property Enquiry Certificate is £59.00. 

Please note from 1st January 2017, VAT will be charged at 20% to the cost of a property enquiry certificate.

How long does it take?

The turn around for a PEC is 5 working days upon receipt of request.
