Friends of Parks Groups
Friends of Parks groups play a vital role in enhancing local parks and open spaces, and help local people have a greater say in how their green spaces are maintained and developed.
These groups work in a variety of ways such as fundraising, practical park improvement projects and running events in parks.
Many Friends of Parks groups have their own website or use Facebook to organise their activities.

Friends Forum
Glasgow Friends of Parks Forum is an independent network of Glasgow's friends of parks and open spaces groups. The Forum meets every few months to share the skills and experiences of the member groups and to discuss wider parks issues. Between meetings, the groups communicate and co-ordinate through the Forum's mailing list.
For further information on the next Forum meeting contact NRSmailroom@glasgow.gov.uk
