Blue Bin Recycling (Kerbside Properties)

The kerbside blue bin service is for the collection of paper, card and cardboard and is provided to properties that are serviced on our kerbside collection services.

Your blue bin will be collected every four weeks. You can view our online calendar for information on collection dates. 

The following items can be placed within the blue bin:

• Newspapers and magazines
• Envelopes and junk mail
• Shredded paper
• Paperback books (or donate to charity)
• Greetings cards and wrapping paper
• Clean pizza boxes
• Egg boxes and toilet roll tubes
• Cereal boxes and food sleeves
• Cardboard boxes

Place all these items loose into your blue bin - please don't put them in plastic bags.

Please do not place any of the following items in your blue bin:

• Items covered in food or liquid
• Plastic inserts, bubble wrap or polystyrene from boxes
• Plastic liners in cereal boxes
• Plastic wrapping from junk mail, newspapers or magazines
• Padded envelopes
• Tissues or kitchen towels
• Wallpaper
• Disposable coffee cups
• Hardback books
• Non-recyclable waste
