Join us for Glasgow's Climate Week

Glasgow's Climate Week is fast approaching, and we will be showcasing a range of fantastic climate action happening across the city. Take a look at the dedicated Glasgow's Climate Week webpage, available here, to find out more about the activities that will be happening across the city.
   
George Gillespie, Executive Director of Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability says: "Glasgow's Climate Week presents a unique opportunity to showcase the fantastic work taking place across this great city. We are excited to invite everyone in the city to get involved to find out more about the successes and challenges on this important journey towards our Net Zero target."

On the first day of Glasgow's Climate Week, Glasgow City Councils' Sustainability Team are hosting a Climate Conversations event at City Halls & Old Fruitmarket. This event is open to everyone and council teams who are working on sustainability projects will be available for conversations, including on Glasgow's Climate Plan, Adaptation Plan, and Net Zero Routemap. People will be able to come along to discuss sustainability projects and initiatives happening across Glasgow and learn more about our city's approach to sustainability. There will also be the opportunity for everyone to share with us their views on climate action in the city. 

There is also a continually growing calendar of events taking place throughout the city during the week. If you are running an event during Glasgow's Climate Week, or know of someone who would like to, please get in touch with sustainability@glasgow.gov.uk to see it listed on the webpage.

Throughout climate week, we will also be sharing a series of blog posts on key focus areas. Watch out on the dedicated webpage and social media for notifications.
