SG6: Green Belt and Green Network guidance sets out how development should protect, and make provision for the enhancement of, the Green Network.  It sets out how development proposals in the Green Belt should be considered and how open space should be protected.  SG6 also supports policies CDP6 and CDP12 in setting out requirements for open space to support new development, including through developer contributions. 

Consultation

Consultation concluded on 18 January 2024.

Status

These have now been adopted.
