The use of e-scooters is illegal on Glasgow's public roads, footways, footpaths and public spaces. These can only be ridden legally on private land with the permission of the landowner.

We acknowledge scooters, skateboards and skates are used for recreation and to get around. More information is available in Glasgow's Cycling and Urban Sports Strategy.
