Report a Stray Dog

Service Update:

Please note our stray dog service is currently suspended until further notice. 

Staff at a police station or Veterinary Surgery should be able to read the dogs microchip for the owners' details.

Dog Wardens patrol Glasgow and respond to report to collect stray dogs throughout the city.

Our Dog Warden service is available between the hours of 9.30 am and 3.30 pm Monday to Friday. Outwith these hours the dog should either be taken to the local Police Station or call the police on 101.

How we deal with your reports

Where stray dogs are collected by our wardens, we transfer them to the kennels who will try to identify their owner and re-unite them.
