Staff Travel Resources and Discounts

Using public transport contributes to fewer single occupancy car journeys and the climate emergency - and collectively we are working together for the benefit of our city to reduce harmful emissions and our own carbon footprint.  Also, by travelling more actively you can improve your own health and wellbeing. The following existing travel options are available to you to help you travel more sustainably. These are in addition to the measures within our Staff Travel Plan.

JourneyShare provides you with the opportunity to link into other council staff making the same journey as you. We have our own dedicated section on the main site and it is an excellent way to car share into work to help save money, and protect the environment. If you would prefer to walk or cycle the site also allows you to find a walking or cycling buddy within the council.
Cycling find out more about our salary sacrifice scheme and how we can help you to feel more confident on a bike with tuition and maintenance classes.
